Deafblind International

I have a close contact with my mother, nowadays. She called me up and asked how I felt about celebrating my 28th birthday in Australia. It’s a whole year to go.. But she is attending the Deafblind International in Perth scheduled 25-30 September 2007. If deciding to, we leave a few days earlier. Scared as I am leaving my dog with anyone else (since he don’t get along with other dogs) my uncle, I believe, is the most trusted one to leave with the responsibility of my dog. A great one indeed, as my dog is “unique/different”. I would worry throughout the whole trip being at the other side of earth with no control of the dog.

Notwithstanding your concerns about your dog, you must not pass up this opportunity to visit a truly lovely city and country. Your dog is your pet, travel is part of living. Get out there, girl!

Yeah, it’s definetly something to think about.

Do you love blue sky? Do you like people that are what they are? Girl, you will never regret this opportunity – unless ,of course, you are afraid of something. Are you afraid of something? Stop this thinking, girl- it is just a rationale for doing nothing…a week ago I was on a motorbike doing a trip of a lifetime (riding to Ayres Rock on a KLR 650) and hit an emu at 90kph – now I am at home aching all over (fractured everything!) but, you know, it was an adventure, just not the adventure I had planned. Come to this land – live…

Do you resident in Australia? A cousin of mine studied out in Perth for two whole years I think. It’s a whole year to go, alot can happen and I don’t know how my life will look at that time. But if I can I will, ofc. It’s not about fear, other things play part.

I hope you make it, soleyshe. I am a resident of Australia (and Perth) – if there is is anything I can do to make your trip – and that of your mother more pleasant – just let me know. Even if you just want advice about what to see and do. All the best.

Hi and welcome. This is my journal where I can find a peace of mind. Perhaps teach myself something. I escape here to unwind, cry or complain, or share my joy. Hope you enjoy your stay.

A 27 year old womans attempt to understand herself and the rest of the world. Difficult to explain myself with only a few words, you decide from the words in my journal. I suppose I am trying to find my strength through this so I think I am a bit confused, I'm quite emotional and very loving though I at times may seem very cold.
